This historic, award-winning documentary is the first ever Videocracy project.
The video was given away to Massers on July 31st, 1998 (many donated
to help cover costs) on the anniversary of the "crackdown" on
San Francisco Critical Mass. This documentary tells the story through
the real mass media, the story that no major news source
has told. It should be clear from this documentary that the crackdown
was truly an attack on the entire alternative transportation,
green cities, liveable cities, and environmental movements as it was a
manufactured, violent, corrupt, violation of our civil rights
which was carefully timed to mask major transportation scandals.
This effort was not easy and represents a year of hard work
by many volunteers and many thousands of dollars from citizens.
July 25th was awarded first prize by attendees of the
Fourth Annual BFBC Film and Video Festival, the premiere bicycle film festival in
the world.
